Kiee Garland, RM (NCRM) has played an integral role in the advancement of the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, contract laboratory and clinical industries in and around Boston, Massachusetts and the Northeast region for the past 15+ years. Prior to launching her own practice Kiee worked at numerous companies, most recently as Director of Microbiology and Quality Assurance at B & V Testing, now a Stericylce Company.

Throughout her career, Kiee has been involved in various audits ranging from CLIA, FDA, EMA, MHRA as well as standard internal audits, both for microbiology and analytical laboratories. Ms. Garland is regarded as a subject matter expert as it relates to microbiology, environmental monitoring and contamination control best practices. Kiee is also a technical expert with hands-on experience in sterile compounding, European and United States regulatory agencies and cGXP.

In addition to years of experience, hiring, managing and training staff, Ms. Garland has also independently established three microbiology laboratories from start-up to full operation and has assisted numerous companies with comprehensive laboratory improvements from SOP development to gap analysis and lean applications. Other skill sets include; laboratory and cleanroom commissioning and decommissioning, analytical method development qualification and process transfer.

To date, Ms. Garland has assisted in the improvement of over 300 cleanrooms and more than 75 biotech validation and qualification projects. She currently facilitates regular speaking engagements, technical presentations and training's to various companies throughout the Northeast.
